Visit to Bærums Verk
Bærums Verk was the biggest industry in the country, and is now the oldest contemporary enterprise. Today, the Bærums Verk area offers a charming mixture of new and old in pictoresque surrounding. Bærums Verk is idyllicly located along the banks of the river Lomma. The waterfall on this river was the basis for the ironworks. Bærums Verk is only a short drive out of Oslo, and a visit here can easily be combined with sights in Oslo., e.g. Holmenkollen.
